On Thursday 22nd April it was ‘Earth Day’ and to mark this occasion some of Swansea 6 walked down to Swansea Bay and decided to do a little Earth Day activity.
They decided to keep our beautiful beaches clean, they headed down on the promenade in the sunshine and discussed environmental factors of plastic and other litter and the detrimental effects for animals and sea life. In truth, the beach was pretty clean thanks to other volunteers who arrived early in the morning but they did a little bit. They are now planning a much larger scale litter pick and will head down early in the morning so that they can really help out and make a difference.
Well done Swansea 6 and Gemma!!
We are proud of you all.
